Born and raised on Milwaukee’s south side, I come to Gesu after 30 years of parish work between the Basilica of St. Josaphat and the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist. During that time, I also served as Master of Ceremonies for then Auxiliary Bishops William Callahan and Donald Hying.
From my earliest days, I was an altar server and eventually worked my way to becoming an employee serving in various capacities such as Sacristan, Liturgical Ministries Coordinator, and Parish Secretary at the Basilica. More recently, I was the Sacristan and Liturgy Assistant at our Cathedral. My entire Catholic education began at St. Josaphat Parish School, then continued at St. Thomas More High School and Cardinal Stritch University.
I enjoy spending time with my family, especially my son Ezekiel “Zeke,” my mom, aunts, and my brother Jim, along with special friends I’ve made throughout my years in church ministry. I’m an avid sports enthusiast (go Packers, Brewers, and Bucks!), but mostly enjoy watching my son play baseball during the summer sports season.
I am excited to bring my years of experience to Gesu Parish, and I look forward to the new experiences and relationships that will help continue to form me as one of Jesus’ disciples.
