Get Involved with Wedding Ministry

Weddings are exciting events in life for everyone! They range from the simple and casual to being glamourous and formal events, but at Gesu one thing is always the same: weddings are a communal celebration of a beautiful sacrament.

At Gesu, we strive to put the emphasis on the sacrament, and we do that by making sure that couples know the whole community is praying for them. Catholic weddings are not private events, whether in person or in spirit, the couple benefits from the prayers of our parishioners.

If you have been married in the Church and would like to help our wedding couples walk toward the altar than this is a great ministry to be a part of. You can do more to help these newlyweds build a long-lasting bond.

FOCCUS consists of facilitating conversations about married life with an engaged couple. This allows the four of you to gain a better understanding of marriage in the long run.
