Community Building

The Community Building efforts of the Parish Life Commission seek to foster interaction between parishioners, parish groups and organizations, particularly in sponsoring special events / programs.

Through a variety of social and spiritual activities, the committee seeks to promote an atmosphere in which parishioners can come to know others or deepen already existing relationships with members of the worshiping community.

Recently this committee has collaborated with Hospitality to plan and promote an annual parish Pancake Breakfast and with Parish Health Ministry for “community building” aspects of our two Gesu blood drives (includes a winter chili cook-off and a summer picnic / BBQ).

Community Building opportunities will be announced on the front page of the parish website as well as in the parish bulletin. So please refer to these resources on a regular basis.
