Visits to Haiti are planned two times a year, generally in
October and March. Visits are typically 10 days in duration and include
time in Port-au-Prince, staying at Norwich Mission House. During this
time, parishioners have the chance to visit several of the ministries
sponsored by Norwich Mission House, meet with missionaries and others
involved in serving the poor of Haiti and getting a more in-depth
understanding of the current situation in Haiti. Two or three days of
each visit are spent at St. Jude Parish, living in the
rectory,
visiting with the people of the parish, and helping to deepen the
relationship between Gesu and St. Jude.
Visits are open to any member of Gesu Parish who is able to make the
commitment.
